Director of Accounting Operations

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual-first medical practice, the full-time salaried Director of Accounting Operations will manage the monthly GL accounting close, oversee financial reporting, and develop robust financial processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial controls and manage the month-end close process
• Liaise with teams to design financial processes and manage relationships with external auditors
• Oversee revenue accounting and ensure compliance with tax regulations and policies

Required qualifications:

• Experience in managing accounting functions and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606
• Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development
• Familiarity with treasury management and banking transactions
• CPA certification is preferred
