Director of Accounting Operations

Job Summary

Leading and optimizing core accounting operations functions, the full-time salaried Director of Accounting Operations will manage Accounts Payable, Billing, Credit & Collections, and Payroll while ensuring efficient transaction processing and strong internal controls in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all Accounting Operations functions, ensuring compliance and operational excellence
• Develop scalable processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and service delivery
• Lead the Credit & Collections team to optimize cash collections and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
• CPA strongly preferred
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibility
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance
• Experience with equity administration and payroll operations in a publicly traded company environment
