Director of Accounts Payable

Job Summary

Overseeing end-to-end P2P workflows, the remote full-time Director of Accounts Payable Operations will manage AP teams, drive process improvements, ensure compliance with financial controls, and maintain vendor relations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a mid-to-large sized AP team, setting performance benchmarks and operational goals
• Continuously evaluate and streamline AP policies and workflows to enhance organizational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal audit, SOX requirements, and corporate disbursement policies

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, with 5+ years in a senior management or director-level role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Expert knowledge of complex financial policies and modern e-payment environments
• Experience with ERP implementations, particularly with systems like Success Factors and SAP
