Job Summary
Leading the actuarial department, the full-time salaried Director of Actuarial Services will develop pricing strategies, oversee loss reserving methodologies, and implement risk management frameworks, with opportunities for both remote and hybrid work arrangements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies and loss reserving methodologies while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide actuarial insights that align with business objectives and support growth and profitability
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of actuaries and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Required qualifications
- 10 years of actuarial experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) or equivalent professional designation
- Technical knowledge of actuarial methods, pricing, reserving, and risk management in the insurance industry
- Experience with actuarial software and advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analytics tools
