Director of Admissions

Job Summary

Leading the admissions process, the full-time remote Director of Admissions will oversee clinical admissions duties, manage staff, and ensure a seamless client experience while maintaining high standards of care for individuals with eating disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinical admissions from initial contact to handoff to the clinical team, ensuring timely authorizations
• Build relationships with payors and referral sources to improve communication and reimbursement outcomes
• Train and supervise admissions staff, ensuring alignment with departmental expectations and performance metrics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in eating disorder treatment or admissions department leadership
• Strong understanding of treatment models, recovery processes, and diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions
• Knowledge of culturally diverse issues and ability to incorporate diverse needs into practice
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively
