Director of Advancement Operations

Job Summary

Providing leadership for business operations and data analysis, the full-time Senior Director of Advancement Operations will manage the Resource Generation Branch's operational infrastructure, oversee gift administration, prospect management, and data analysis, while working remotely or in a hybrid environment with some travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategies to optimize the use of Salesforce and other data platforms, ensuring effective system adoption and user support
• Facilitate annual and multiyear revenue projections and forecasting processes, ensuring data-driven methodologies across teams
• Oversee prospect management and research, ensuring effective portfolio management and support for fundraising leaders

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising operations, data analysis, and business enablement in a nonprofit or similar organization
• Deep knowledge of fundraising operations across various revenue streams, including major gifts and institutional fundraising
• Experience leading CRM strategy, reporting, projections, and KPI development for fundraising
• Strong people management experience, including leading multi-team departments
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance across multiple systems
