Job Summary

Providing strategic vision and leadership for academic advising and student success initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Advising and Onboarding will design programs to enhance student learning, retention, and transfer pathways while collaborating with institutional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated advising and onboarding initiatives to support student success from onboarding to graduation
• Foster partnerships across college departments and external entities to streamline educational pathways and remove systemic obstacles
• Utilize data-informed decision-making to achieve measurable outcomes in student retention, completion, and academic success

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in student affairs, higher education, counseling, or a related field
• Extensive leadership experience in community college Student Affairs
• Comprehensive knowledge of student development theory and academic advising practices
• Demonstrated skills in strategic leadership and program development
• Experience in policy development related to higher education
