Director of Advocacy Strategy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Advocacy Strategy and Engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate a strategic mobilization plan to advance policy priorities and grassroots engagement
• Manage the development and distribution of advocacy materials in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team
• Track audience engagement and contribute to the planning of the organization's annual DC fly-in

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
• 8-12 years of issues management experience in a political or public affairs environment
• Expert functional skills and advanced industry knowledge
• Experience managing multiple teams or functions
• Ability to make strategic and operational decisions with minimal supervision
