Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts related to intellectual property and research collaborations
• Advise on legal risks and compliance regarding technology transfer and commercialization activities
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the protection and commercialization of intellectual property

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, Master's, or PhD) preferred
• Minimum of nine years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; seven years with a Master's/PhD; five years with a JD
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex IP-related agreements
• Strong understanding of agreements law
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus
