Director of AI Analytics Engineering

Job Summary

To lead the development of data science and analytics capabilities, the full-time Director of AI Analytics Engineering will manage a team of data scientists and analytics engineers, setting technical direction, owning the analytics roadmap, and contributing to modeling and data architecture work in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example through hands-on coding, model building, and technical reviews
• Mentor team members and foster their growth through coaching and rigorous reviews
• Ensure data quality and accessibility while connecting analysis to actionable business outcomes

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in data science or analytics engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within healthcare or regulated industries
• Proficiency in production-quality Python or SQL and experience in building and deploying models
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare data environments, including HIPAA/PHI compliance and claims data analytics
• Experience in finance analytics or revenue cycle management, including financial reporting infrastructure
• Strong foundation in analytics engineering, including data modeling and self-serve analytics at scale
