Director of AI Automation
Job Summary
Leading the development of quality assurance strategies, the full-time Director of AI Automation will define enterprise test automation and quality engineering practices while working remotely to support software products and integrations for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and implement the enterprise Test Automation and Quality Engineering strategy across multiple products and platforms
- Establish testing standards, governance frameworks, and key quality indicators to ensure consistent software quality
- Lead and mentor QA teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in quality engineering
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 15+ years of experience in software quality assurance and quality engineering
- 7+ years of experience leading enterprise QA organizations or quality engineering teams
- Experience in establishing executive dashboards and risk-based quality reporting
- Proven experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD and DevSecOps environments
