Director of AI Center

Job Summary

Leading the AI Center of Excellence, the full-time salaried Director of AI Center will build and manage the operational model, drive AI strategy and governance, and enhance AI adoption and business value in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the operating model for the AI Center of Excellence, translating AI strategy into a practical roadmap
• Partner with business leaders to assess and prioritize AI opportunities, creating clear frameworks for initiative intake and decision-making
• Define and operationalize AI governance and policies, ensuring responsible AI practices across the organization

Required qualifications

• Experience leading or scaling an AI, automation, or digital transformation function
• Proven ability to define governance and delivery mechanisms for emerging technology initiatives
• Experience working across multiple business functions to identify AI adoption barriers and training needs
• Practical knowledge of modern AI capabilities and tools, including LLM-based workflows and AI-assisted development tools
• Experience in designing and leading technology adoption and training programs
