Director of AI Deployment

Job Summary

Leading a team focused on strategic customer deployments, the full-time salaried Director of AI Deployment will oversee the successful adoption and lifecycle support of AMD's compute and AI solutions across Cloud, HPC, and Sovereign AI customers, while collaborating with various engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Cloud, HPC & Sovereign AI Customer Engineering organization to support strategic customer deployments and lifecycle management
• Manage a team of Customer Program Managers to ensure deployment readiness, new product introduction execution, and fleet sustainment activities
• Serve as the executive escalation point for complex deployment and operational challenges, driving successful customer outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience leading customer-facing engineering or technical program management teams in cloud, AI, HPC, or datacenter operations
• Proven track record in managing large-scale cloud, AI, or enterprise infrastructure deployments
• Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, compute platforms, and operational readiness
• Ability to drive alignment across engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing organizations
