Director of AI Design Innovation

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Design Innovation (AI) who will lead user experience design for AI-powered products in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the design vision for AI-powered products, establishing a coherent experience strategy
• Lead the design of novel AI interaction patterns and ensure trust and transparency in AI behavior
• Build and mentor a design team focused on AI product experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• 2+ years of experience designing AI-powered product experiences
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in UI/UX design across complex product ecosystems
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field; Master's preferred
• Experience designing for accessibility and compliance with regulations like FERPA and COPPA
