Director of AI Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Agentic AI Engineering & Platform Architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and scaling of the Agentic AI platform, ensuring system architecture and integration patterns align with technical strategy
• Establish and maintain a multi-year platform roadmap, focusing on durable, scalable solutions and product readiness
• Build and lead a high-performance engineering team while mentoring engineers and collaborating cross-functionally with various departments

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, or distributed systems
• 5+ years in senior/principal/staff engineering, architect, or platform leadership roles
• 3+ years leading engineering teams
• Expertise with agentic AI frameworks and hands-on experience with autonomous agent capabilities
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with Apache Spark and SQL
