Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of AI Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and ship production AI/ML systems while writing code
Manage a distributed team of 8-10 engineers and partner with cross-functional teams
Own model performance metrics and manage the full ML lifecycle

Required Qualifications

Experience with production agentic pipelines and frontier models
Hands-on Python programming and experience with PostgreSQL
Experience in leading technical teams at a startup or growth-stage company
Familiarity with finance and/or accounts payable workflows is a bonus
Ability to own outcomes and drive technical decisions
