Job Summary

To drive innovative AI solutions in engineering, the remote full-time Director of AI Engineering will define the AI strategy, collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, and oversee the development and deployment of AI agents to enhance software development and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the engineering AI strategy to enhance software development and operational efficiency through AI agents
• Partner with engineering teams to analyze workflows and identify high-value opportunities for AI integration
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI agents, ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, and maintainable

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in applied AI, technology strategy, or complex enterprise systems
• 10+ years of experience leading complex technology initiatives with expertise in software engineering or technical partnership roles
• Experience connecting AI initiatives to measurable business value using data and outcome-based metrics
• Demonstrated experience designing and operationalizing AI-powered solutions in real-world environments
• Deep understanding of modern AI techniques, including large language models and agent frameworks
