Director of AI Engineering
Job Summary
To lead AI engineering initiatives, the full-time remote Director of AI Engineering will define and implement enterprise-wide AI architecture and strategy, ensuring security and compliance while guiding the organization's AI transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise AI architecture strategy, establishing best practices for AI/ML solutions
- Design secure, scalable AI solutions using advanced technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated AI solutions that meet business requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field required
- 10+ years of experience in information technology with at least 7 years in enterprise architecture or technical leadership roles
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture, including hands-on experience with Large Language Models and AI application development
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare technology with a deep understanding of health data standards and regulatory compliance
- Proven experience leading architecture teams and managing diverse technical teams required
