Job Summary
Leading the establishment of governance and portfolio management for AI initiatives, the full-time remote Director of AI Governance will own the enterprise AI governance framework and ensure responsible, scalable AI adoption aligned with business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Mature the AI governance framework, including policies, standards, and review processes
- Manage the AI use case lifecycle, overseeing intake, review, approval, and deployment stages
- Develop portfolio metrics and reporting to assess ROI, risk, and strategic alignment of AI investments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in technology, data, AI/ML, risk, governance, or portfolio management roles
- Familiarity with responsible AI practices and frameworks such as NIST AI RMF or ISO 42001
- Working knowledge of AI/ML use case frameworks and portfolio management tools
- Proven ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders in a matrixed environment
