Director of AI/ML Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of AI/ML Engineering to lead the development and execution of an AI strategy in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute an organization-wide AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Maintain hands-on involvement in AI projects, contributing to code and model development
• Establish AI governance frameworks and collaborate with leadership to translate business needs into AI initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• PhD or Master's degree in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML with a track record of progression to technical leadership roles
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and modern AI tools
• Public cloud experience (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Proven ability to build and scale AI infrastructure and operations
