Director of AI/ML Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of a transformative AI strategy within the healthcare sector, the full-time remote Sr Director of AI/ML Engineering will manage key AI projects, drive innovation through research, and establish ethical AI governance while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to translate healthcare challenges into impactful AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute an organization-wide AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Maintain hands-on involvement in key AI projects, contributing to code and model development
• Establish AI governance frameworks and ethical guidelines across the organization

Required qualifications:

• PhD or Master's degree in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML with a proven track record in technical leadership roles
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks
• Public cloud experience (Azure, GCP, or AWS) required
• Demonstrated solid programming skills in Python or other relevant languages
