Director of AI Platforms
Job Summary
Leading the strategy and development of AI-enabled clinical trial capabilities, the full-time Director of AI Platforms will manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions that enhance clinical research workflows and data quality, working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Agentic AI organization to develop scalable AI solutions for internal operations and clinical trial applications
- Drive the strategy and technical architecture for the AI Agent platform, enabling intelligent automation and orchestration across products and services
- Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and translate them into production-ready capabilities
Required qualifications
- Significant experience leading AI, machine learning, or data science teams in a technology-driven environment
- Hands-on expertise in designing and deploying cloud-based AI/ML platforms, preferably on AWS
- Practical experience with AWS SageMaker and related cloud-native services for AI/ML
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives from concept through production deployment
- Strong software engineering background, including APIs, scalable services, and enterprise-grade cloud systems
