Director of AI Product Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a dedicated cross-functional team, the full-time remote Director of AI Product Engineering will define product strategy and roadmap for AI capabilities, focusing on addressing emerging risks related to AI systems and ensuring measurable impact for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the adoption, impact, and success of the AI product pillar, translating complex problems into clear product direction
• Drive cross-functional execution by managing a high-velocity POD model and ensuring timely delivery of product milestones
• Define and evolve AI architecture, making strategic decisions on build vs. leverage vs. partner for models and data pipelines

Required qualifications

• Proven experience leading cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact outcomes
• Strong technical background with expertise in production AI/ML systems, including behavioral models and anomaly detection
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity, rapidly evolving technical domains
• Demonstrated use of AI to enhance product capabilities and development workflows
• Strong communication and executive alignment skills
