Director of AI Risk Management

Job Summary

Providing critical oversight and strategy, the fully remote Director of AI Risk Management will lead the enterprise AI risk, return, and resilience strategy, focusing on the governance and integration of AI, data, and model management while coordinating cross-functionally with senior leadership and various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the enhancement and execution of a robust enterprise AI risk, return, and resilience strategy that incorporates agentic and generative AI considerations
• Coordinate the implementation of AI deployment requirements across the enterprise and monitor progress of the AI risk program
• Provide thought leadership on AI governance, including the intake and assessment of AI models to ensure compliance with ethical standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 15 or more years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong understanding of AI risk management and governance, particularly in the insurance industry
• Experience with machine learning and generative AI technologies
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively
