Director of AI Search

Job Summary

Owning the AI Search product vertical, the fully remote Director of AI Search will define methodologies, build autonomous systems, and lead a team while driving product strategy and execution in the AI search domain.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve methodologies for AI visibility and build a research engine for continuous data collection and hypothesis testing
• Design and implement autonomous systems for end-to-end SEO work, ensuring safe operations at scale
• Lead client interactions, manage a team of SEOs, and publish thought leadership to integrate new approaches into client work swiftly

Required qualifications

• Expert-level technical SEO experience at enterprise scale, including crawling, indexation, and structured data
• Proven track record in AI search with measurable outcomes and deep understanding of LLMs
• In-depth experience with Claude Code and autonomous systems, showcasing real-world applications
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Git workflows and CI/CD practices
• Experience managing SEO teams and engaging with executive stakeholders effectively
