Director of AI Security

Job Summary

To lead DigitalOcean's AI security initiatives, the full-time Director of AI Security will manage the integration of AI security controls into customer-facing products, oversee adversarial testing and risk governance, and represent AI security at executive briefings, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Security and Engineering leadership to define AI security controls for products
• Lead adversarial testing and security reviews of AI product initiatives from design through launch
• Own and drive the AI Security strategy and multi-year roadmap, prioritizing risks and investments

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 4-5 years focused on AI/ML security
• Demonstrated experience in defining and driving AI or security programs at an organizational level
• Deep knowledge of adversarial ML attacks and defenses, including evasion and poisoning techniques
• Strong programming skills in Python and Go, with experience in building security tooling and automation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Mathematics, or a related field
