Director of AI Security Development

Job Summary

Leading a strategic cybersecurity initiative, the full-time remote Director of AI Security Development will build and scale a dedicated function for cybersecurity Agentic AI development, security tooling, and automation engineering while collaborating with key security leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define the strategy, operating model, and service offerings for AI & Security Development
• Drive the development of AI-powered security agents for detection, triage, investigation, and response
• Establish secure AI development practices and integrate security data analytics for decision-making

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or related technical disciplines, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience in building or scaling automation, AI/ML, or advanced analytics capabilities
• Strong background in secure software development and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with security operations, detection engineering, or incident response workflows
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud/AI certifications (preferred)
