Director of AI Solutions
Job Summary
Leading the development and deployment of AI and digital engineering solutions, the full-time Director of AI Solutions will transform scientific workflows and decision-making processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the AI and process systems strategy across Materials Division R&D, focusing on knowledge management and scientific language models
- Build and maintain a roadmap for AI-enabled scientific and engineering solutions across all business units
- Drive the deployment of intelligent assistants and decision-support solutions to enhance knowledge discovery and analysis for scientists and engineers
Required qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, advanced analytics, or digital engineering within R&D-intensive or manufacturing environments
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and delivering scalable AI and digital process solutions
- Strong understanding of machine learning, generative AI, and modern AI architectures
- Experience applying AI solutions to product development, process development, or industrial R&D environments
