Director of AI Technologies

Job Summary

Leading the AI and emerging tech function, the full-time remote Director of AI Technologies will define the strategy, set the technical vision, and establish processes to integrate AI capabilities into genomics products, enhancing user engagement and driving company growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the company-wide AI and emerging technology strategy aligned with product and business goals
• Design and lead an AI agent framework and automation infrastructure to enhance genomic interpretation and operational automation
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI/ML and emerging tech team while collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful AI features

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, particularly in product-led environments such as health tech or genomics
• Proven track record of building and scaling AI products end-to-end, including AI research and product integration
• Experience in designing AI agent frameworks and automation infrastructures for intelligent decision-making
• Familiarity with bioinformatics and genomic data, along with product management experience
• Strong background in team building and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
