Director of AI Transformation

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of R&D operations, the full-time remote Director of AI Transformation will analyze and redesign the software development lifecycle to create an AI-native operation, ensuring efficient collaboration between engineering, product, and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the R&D Agentic SDLC Operating Model by mapping workflows and synthesizing input from teams to create a practical transformation roadmap
• Own R&D metrics and visibility, establishing frameworks to measure transformation progress and connect workflow changes to customer value
• Run the R&D executive operating cadence, facilitating alignment between senior leaders and ensuring effective decision-making processes

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, engineering operations, product operations, or R&D leadership
• Experience in program leadership at the R&D or platform level with accountability for outcomes
• Proven change management skills, capable of guiding teams through adoption of new tools and workflows
• Metrics fluency, with experience owning engineering and product KPIs to drive behavior change
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and practices, demonstrating a commitment to transforming development processes
