Director of Analytics

Job Summary

Leading the Analytics and Data Science organization, the full-time remote Director of Analytics will manage team development, embed analytics into business workflows, and partner with cross-functional leaders to drive data-informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Analytics and Data Science organization, hiring and developing teams to enhance data science adoption
• Embed analytics into core business processes, ensuring insights are utilized in product, risk, and growth decisions
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to shape BI and data science platform architecture, influencing data models and workflows

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics or data science, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of partnering with executive leadership to influence strategy using data
• Experience designing and evolving analytics and data science organizations, including team structures and standards
• Strong technical background with experience in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow) and proficiency in SQL and Python
• Ability to balance speed and scalability in architectural decisions, with clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
