Director of Analytics
Job Summary
Leading a team of approximately 10-11 professionals, the remote Director of Analytics will define and execute the roadmap for a modern analytics platform, focusing on both internal business intelligence and customer-facing data products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage an analytics organization while driving modernization across data architecture and reporting
- Provide technical leadership in cloud data warehousing and analytics engineering, partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing analytics talent, presenting strategies and technical tradeoffs to executive stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or related fields
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams of 10 or more
- Strong engineering foundation with expertise in SQL and data modeling
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake and analytics platforms like Looker/LookML or dbt
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive leadership and drive strategic initiatives
