Director of Analytics Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the analytics engineering strategy and execution, the full-time remote Director of Analytics Engineering will design core data models, manage the company-wide semantic layer, and drive finance analytics while ensuring data governance and quality across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of core data models using modern practices and manage the semantic layer for critical business metrics
• Drive Finance Analytics, partnering closely with Finance and Revenue Operations to oversee key reporting and month-end close pipelines
• Set standards for data governance and quality, managing data egress and reverse-ETL strategies across various platforms

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics engineering or a related technical discipline, with 5+ years in people management
• Deep hands-on proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt, with experience in Databricks and Snowflake
• Proven experience in Finance and Revenue analytics, including Bookings, ARR, and NDRR
• Expert-level data modeling skills, including Data Vault and Medallion architecture
• Experience leading cloud data platform migrations and managing data governance programs at scale
