Director of Applications Development

Job Summary

Leading the long-term software development strategy for a portfolio of applications, the full-time remote Director of Applications Development will manage cross-functional teams, oversee IT initiatives, and ensure high-quality operational support for the medical learner community.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee complex initiatives that require coordination with business counterparts and ensure delivery of impactful solutions
• Develop and inspire high-performing technical teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
• Manage budgets, compliance, and stakeholder partnerships to align technology initiatives with organizational goals

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant discipline required; M.S. preferred
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in managing complex IT projects
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Expert level experience managing agile development teams and cloud application development
• PMP Certification preferred
