Director of Applied AI & Machine Learning

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the remote Director of Applied AI & Machine Learning will manage client engagements, shape AI and ML solution strategies, and mentor teams while driving technical credibility and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Set direction as a technical evangelist, shaping AI and ML conversations into compelling solution visions
• Partner with sales and account teams to drive opportunity qualification and deal closure for AI and ML engagements
• Guide and mentor architects and data scientists to ensure solution consistency and technical excellence

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, Data, or Analytics roles with enterprise client exposure
• Proven experience leading pre-sales or client-facing technical engagements, including solution design
• Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Data & AI, particularly in Azure Data Services and Azure AI
• Demonstrated success in influencing pipeline progression and closing deals exceeding $1M
• Strong architectural mindset with the ability to design end-to-end Data & AI solutions aligned to client objectives
