Director of A&R

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, A&R to build its music roster and manage artist relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and close artist deals, distribution partnerships, and catalog opportunities
• Identify and develop relationships with culturally relevant and commercially promising talent
• Support deal strategy and manage opportunities from sourcing through negotiation and onboarding

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in A&R, artist deals, or related music industry roles
• Proven track record of identifying and negotiating commercially viable music deals
• Deep understanding of the music business, including distribution and rights management
• Strong network within the music industry, including artists and managers
• Proficiency in Google Workplace and familiarity with music analytics tools
