Director of Asset Management

Job Summary

Seeking a results-driven Director of Asset Management, this full-time remote position will oversee the performance of a growing multifamily portfolio, managing 2,000+ units with a goal to scale to 30,000+, while enforcing operational excellence and financial accountability through data-driven strategies and rigorous oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the financial and operational performance of the multifamily portfolio, ensuring accountability for NOI, cash flow, and business plan execution
• Architect a best-in-class asset management operating system and manage asset-level strategies including capital planning and operational turnaround plans
• Drive lender strategy and negotiate with stakeholders in high-stakes situations to protect investor capital and enhance portfolio performance

Required Qualifications

• 7-12+ years of experience in asset management, structured finance, or multifamily portfolio operations with direct accountability for performance
• Proven record of placing agency debt and navigating complex loan negotiations
• Strong command of property-level financials and experience overseeing third-party property management firms
• High proficiency in real estate financial modeling and property management systems
• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field; advanced training is a plus
