Director of Automation Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the development of AI-enabled automation systems, the full-time, fully remote Director of Automation Engineering will design and implement workflows and software solutions to enhance NBCUniversal's data collaboration ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of AI agents and automation workflows using frameworks like Snowflake Cortex and LangChain
- Establish evaluation metrics and monitoring patterns for AI-agent behavior to ensure reliability and performance
- Oversee the development of production-grade Python applications and libraries to support audience and measurement workflows
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership and mentoring of engineering teams
- Hands-on experience building production-grade software in Python, including CI/CD and code reviews
- Experience designing AI-enabled workflows and automation systems
- 5+ years of experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
