Director of Biostatistics

Job Summary

Leading a team of biostatistics professionals, the full-time remote Director of Biostatistics will manage complex programs across multiple disease areas, contribute to strategic planning, and engage with executives to drive key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and direct a large portfolio of biostatistics programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and strategic objectives
• Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and achieve development goals
• Consult with senior leadership to provide strategic input on departmental and enterprise-level initiatives

Required qualifications

• 14+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 12+ years with a Master's, or 12+ years with a PhD/PharmD
• Progressive industry experience in biostatistics, particularly in complex development environments
• Demonstrated leadership in managing biostatistics functions and strategic planning
• Expert-level knowledge of biostatistics and its evolving landscape
• Ability to operationalize biostatistics strategies across therapeutic areas
