Director of Building Operations

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of innovative building operations strategies, the full-time salaried Director of Product Development will prioritize product initiatives in a technology-driven environment, focusing on areas such as energy optimization and predictive maintenance while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product priorities by assessing opportunities and recommending investment focus based on client value and feasibility
• Develop business cases, including value propositions and pricing models, to support investment logic for leadership and clients
• Productize use cases by transforming priority opportunities into repeatable service offerings with defined requirements

Required qualifications

• 8-12 years of progressive management experience in facilities engineering or operations across complex portfolios
• Proven ability to translate operational needs into digital products/services and scale pilots into standardized playbooks
• Commercial acumen to develop business cases and communicate outcomes effectively to stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of building systems and maintenance/reliability practices
• Familiarity with smart building controls, CMMS/work order processes, and data quality considerations
