Job Summary
To drive revenue growth, the full-time remote Director of Business Development will manage the entire sales process, establish valuable customer relationships, and develop strategic account plans while prospecting for new opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute account territory plans, identifying new opportunities while maintaining core revenue
- Manage customer relationships and the sales process from prospect initiation to securing commitments
- Engage with customers through face-to-face meetings and industry events to understand their needs and expand business opportunities
Required qualifications
- 4-7 years of direct sales experience in selling automation solutions and capital equipment
- Proven ability to close business and achieve sales targets
- Strong prospecting skills with an active network of contacts
- Experience in contract negotiation and project management
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue growth using strategic account management techniques
