Director of Business Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director Business Development Officer for Capital Equipment Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate transactions of $3MM to $100MM for the company's account and through syndication
• Cross-sell other bank products through internal referrals
• Interface with C Suite level executives and advocate for deals with the underwriting team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in direct origination of transactions ranging from $3MM to $100MM, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience
• BA in Business or Economics preferred
• Understanding of market deal structures and direct equipment finance transactions for companies with revenues over $75 million
• 8 years in an equipment finance deal origination role with a strong understanding of credit and structuring
• Strong track record in closing transactions and developing new territories
