Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Business Development to create and manage its outbound sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement an outbound sales strategy, including prospecting tools and targeted prospect lists
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to kickoff, converting inbound leads and conducting discovery calls
- Log client activity and provide weekly pipeline reporting while collaborating with the CEO on strategy
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of business development or sales experience in staffing, recruiting, or professional services
- Proven experience in building an outbound business development motion from scratch
- Track record of opening new client relationships rather than managing existing accounts
- Familiarity with prospecting tools and CRM platforms, with Bullhorn experience being a plus
- Experience in one or more of the target verticals: growth stage B2B tech, consumer, or marketing & creative agencies
