Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time remote Director of Business Development will drive strategic growth initiatives and collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to achieve annual net new business targets.
Key responsibilities
- Build and scale a regional Business Development team, ensuring timely hiring and training to meet growth targets
- Provide hands-on sales management and coaching across the full sales cycle, including setting KPIs and monitoring performance
- Develop and execute regional strategies in alignment with company goals, collaborating with marketing and commercial teams to generate new RFPs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Life Sciences
- Proven experience in selling CRO services
- Experience with phases 2-3 trials
- Expertise in clinical trial budgets, proposals, and contracts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach teams and foster a positive, collaborative culture
