Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Director of Business Development will generate new revenue by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing new clients, while working remotely or from the Lincoln, NE office.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve growth goals and revenue targets
- Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution, ensuring a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Lead proposal development, pitch presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure profitable agreements
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within relevant sectors
- Proven success in generating new business and managing complex sales cycles
- Experience selling consulting or professional services to mission-driven organizations
- Strong understanding of marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
