Job Summary

Driving growth for healthcare associations, the full-time Director of Business Development will identify, pursue, and close new client relationships while managing the entire sales cycle in a hybrid work environment based in Schaumburg, IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a proactive new business strategy targeting healthcare associations and adjacent markets
  • Serve as the primary external business development contact, conducting discovery meetings and building relationships with prospective clients
  • Lead the proposal process for new AMC engagements, creating customized presentations and collaborating with senior leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 6+ years of business development or sales experience in professional services, preferably in the nonprofit or healthcare sector
  • Proven track record of independently closing new client relationships
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and modern sales enablement tools
  • Working knowledge of healthcare association governance and operational challenges is a plus
