Job Summary

Driving growth in the healthcare association market, the hybrid Director of Business Development will identify, pursue, and close new client relationships while managing the full sales cycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance WJ Weiser's client roster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a proactive business strategy targeting healthcare associations and adjacent markets
  • Serve as the primary business development contact, conducting discovery meetings and building relationships with prospective clients
  • Lead the proposal process for new AMC engagements, creating customized presentations and maintaining a library of sales resources
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 6+ years of business development or sales experience in professional services or association management
  • Proven track record of independently closing new client relationships
  • Experience selling to nonprofit or healthcare sector executives preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and modern sales enablement tools
