Job Summary

To drive growth in the audio and podcast sector, the full-time salaried Director of Business Development will manage the development and conversion of new client opportunities, from prospecting to pitch and negotiation, while collaborating closely with senior leadership and maintaining a sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and industry events
  • Convert inbound opportunities and create new ones through targeted outreach and relationship-building
  • Lead proposals and commercial negotiations in partnership with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7-10+ years of relevant business development or sales experience in audio, podcasting, or related fields
  • Deep knowledge of the audio and podcast advertising ecosystem
  • Strong record of originating and closing consultative new business
  • Excellent storytelling and executive communication skills
