Director of Business Intelligence

Job Summary

To drive the implementation of a comprehensive BI strategy, the full-time Sr. Director of Business Intelligence will manage a team of analysts and report developers, unify data from various sources, and ensure effective data solutions for enterprise-wide decision-making in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the strategic vision for Business Intelligence infrastructure, including data architecture and governance standards
• Partner with functional leaders to identify data needs and deliver a unified data model for reporting and analytics
• Lead and develop a team of analysts, providing mentorship and direction to execute BI initiatives effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience with healthcare data, including medical claims processing and payer transactions
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise data models for analytics and reporting
• Proven leadership experience in managing analytics or data engineering teams and driving strategic initiatives
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
