Director of Capital Planning

Job Summary

Leading the financial planning and performance management of capital projects, the full-time Director of Capital Planning will oversee the capital planning process for fiber construction, collaborating with various departments and providing executive-level reporting and analysis in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage capital and build plan forecasts, ensuring alignment with deployment plans and cash requirements
• Prepare executive-level reporting and recommendations on capital spending and investment trade-offs
• Drive process improvements in planning tools and reporting to enhance visibility and decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, capital planning, corporate finance, or project finance
• Strong understanding of capital budgeting, financial modeling, and investment analysis
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional planning processes and influence senior leadership decisions
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and business intelligence platforms preferred
